Case overview
The essentials first. The evidence, decisions, and validation follow below.
Context
Jago Last Wish was created in the UI/UX Design Mastery program by Skilvul for the Digital Talent Scholarship – Professional Academy program. Bank Jago was the challenge partner; this was not employment, a client engagement, or a shipped Bank Jago feature designed by me.
Problem
The central design question was emotional as much as functional: how might a life-insurance and last-wish experience reduce the negative connotation around planning for death and make the process feel more motivating, positive, and sincere?
People / users
The team used the challenge brief and secondary research on life insurance in Indonesia to build a probable-user persona and identify pain points before moving into solution design.
01 / Framing
A sensitive topic needed a better emotional frame.
“Transform the negative connotation associated with death planning into one that is motivating, upbeat, and sincere.”
